When I drove my car home for the first time(500 miles) and I pulled away from the services after stopping for 5 minutes, I would get water thrown on to the centre of the windscreen, presumably from the engine bay!? But that was the only time it did, well, until I drove it the other day after stopping at some traffic lights!

It's about an egg cup's worth of clean water. I don't have the air con on or anything!

Any ideas?

Someone once referred to this as their T car doing a sex wee on acceleration from standstill.

Several people had had it and it was water in the washer pipes coming out.

Ok, but it was the least aggressive acceleration I had done that day... smile

it is a very easy fix - you need to put one way inline valves on your wiper hoses. I got mine from a Audi dealers - they are the same as the ones on the baby lambo. Graham Varley mentions this in his manual.

It will nether happen again when they are fitted. If no ones else comes and post up what the part number is I will have a look when home.

Definitely get some inline flow thingys fitted. They sell them in Halfords. I found accelerating hard or turning right when accelerating caused a splash on the screen each time.

btw. Either you Sagaris is too slow to make this happen or you're not trying hard enough LOL!

And another....

My digital readout has gone blank, along with this the oil light is flickering too?

I know it's an electrical problem, otherwise the engine would have seezed up by now.

From what Don1 was telling me, I'm surprised the wind chill factor doesn't freeze the water in yours. smile
