Rear speaker cable - now really confused
Discussion
Done some further digging following my last post. Over the left wheel arch I have 2 cables - 1 blue/back the other just black, these both have large spade connectors, both unused. Also found in the braded loom that runs across the top of the tank, 2 further spare cables both with large spades again, this time 1 blue and one black/red. To add insult to injury I then find the spare connector block with 4 speaker wires in the passenger side 'flap' behind the seat. What do you think?!
I've just been playing with the solenoid for the passengers door and also found the rear speaker connector block (didn't realise it was installed as standard.) So I guess you can just wire from this to the rear speakers.
But, I also had my head unit out to replace and discovered that I'll need to splice the rear speaker wires as they have conveniently wired them into a connector block behind the dash that isn't in the slightest "iso" standard.

Also whip the head unit out. The stereo should have the stickers on the cables with info on L & R +/- but they change colour at the connector block behind the head unit. Then as youve found, end up in a 4 block in the passenger flap. I found it easiest to cut and crimp connect with a bit of heatshrink to extend the wires.
