Hi all,

Looking to take her indoors away for a long weekend to either Cornwall or Devon and looking for a boutique hotel ideally on the coast line, does anyone have any experience and recommendations.

Thanks

You could try watergate bay in Nequay, never stayed there but looks like a boutique hotel.
Plus there is Jamies 15 next door. The food is amazing, expect best part of £200 for a night there for 2 with wine, but well worth it.

Not too close to the coast but top dollar place and superb quality.

Have stayed here many times over the years. Very good. Make sure you talk through and understand the room options. Best room service I've ever had (except illegal stuff wink )

Stayed there for a week a couple of years ago. Nice place, great beach, 15 is/was good, cafe on beach was fab for breakfast. bar and terrace lovely with decent views, indoor and outdoor pool, rooms were nice BUT from memory, and why we went, very child orientated, with games rooms, activities and separate children's dinner time.

I would avoid 15, the food is at best average for the cost.

Especially when the likes of Gidleigh are being recommended.... biggrin
