I didn't think they'd add to the swear filter. Since it's used as a non offensive term, I don't see why is offensive.

Yes, if that is the definitive list then all must be censored if any are.
Including Pom, Aussie, Kiwi, Yank etc...

Seriously, the world is going mad, shame on PH for bowing down to this pathetic complaint.

ETA an example of how ridiculous this is, when PHer is quoted, his name gets censored...

This is all very confusing. With full word filters being applied, I won't know whether I'm being offended by , or .

In the immortal words of some bloody PHer who keeps using it as the 1st post reply, "well it be onto this."

British Army term, it's evolved a bit from its original meaning, it's now a derogatory term for the locals in whatever country you happen to be in.

I think any word will eventually evolve into a derogatory word, and we will have to communicate using sign language. Unfortunately that too will evolve into purely derogatory terms, and mankind will be left with no way to communicate, except for rapid series of blinks.

We are doomed.

surely it can be safely left to the moderators to work out whether the word is being used in that context?
I thought that is what the report button is for.

That's the thing with slang words used for different nationalities; they all look the same to me.
