While fiddling about to fit a Leven washer modification kit one of the nozzle connections has dropped down through the mesh - how do I get under the mesh to retreive it

Spooky, I fitted the Leven kit yesterday and exactly the same thing happened. After much head scratching here was my solution.
1. Mark up position of bonnet catch & remove it.
2. Cut a 1" hole with a circular drill saw, because this panel slopes away from you at the bottom make sure you only drill through enough to cut the upper flat part of the panel, it helps to drill at a slight downward angle and this will leave a nice hinge at the bottom.
3. Poke an allen key through the pilot hole and hinge the flap down being careful not to snap it. There may be a bit of sound deadening material to push out of the way.
4. Fumble around and you'll find the piece of tubing you'll need.
5. Push the flap back and smear a silicon sealant around the flap to re-seal
6. Re-fit the bonnet latch, easy because you marked where it went (right?) which will cover the hole and will be easy to access the next time it happens.
The other alternative is remove dash, cut hole (unless you already have an acccess panel) and go in from the inside.
Hope you sort it out, the washer jets are a great bit of kit.
