Disco 3 turbo crossover pipe
Discussion
The turbo crossover pipe on my Disco 3 has developed a leak (this is the pipe that carries the exhaust over the engine from one bank to the single turbo on the other side.) My mender is telling me that the gearbox is going to have to come out to get to it. Really? And if so, what plonker at JLR designed this amazing "feature"?

Maybe you need to try a different 'Mender'!
A worst case scenario would be to lift the body off, not take the gearbox out... Lifting the body isn't as bad as you may think either as it is designed to come off to make access for some tasks significantly easier!

Latest development is that they have decided to take the body off after all. Jeez, what a pain, though.A worst case scenario would be to lift the body off, not take the gearbox out... Ive been told that the books give 9hrs as a guide. My mate has got it down to a days worth to get the body off to get to the turbo.
