Can anyone recommend a decent auto electrician here in the NW? I would like a new alarm/immobiliser fitted to my Chim.

Guy in stockport on the industrial estate at the top of new zealand road is pretty good. Fair prices and he is not a bullshitter like most of them.

I use a guy called Paul Montoute who is a mobile auto elecctrician and can come to you.

He's based in the Widnes area if that any good.
