A sad day indeed...

I'm afraid to say that after 6 months of not really advertising my Griff, it was sold yesterday and I am now TVR-less. Due to starting a new job for which a Griff is not the ideal car, I've had to get rid for something more sensible, although I've not bought anything yet. The only saving grace is the fact that the chap that has bought it appears to be a fanatic who will certainly take car of it.
I'm confident that this is only a trail separation and I've already set myself a deadline to getting my next TVR - whatever it may be - in time for my birthday next year.
I'll continue to browse PH and offer useless advise and join the banter, but some moral support from you lot would be great right now to help me through this sad time.

Bad news mate, We were driving back from Oxford last night and I had cause to reflect, what a damn fine car the Griff is, especially on a cool summers night with the instrument lights glowing and the engine thrumming happily at a steady 90. The heater is pretty effective too and it's great driving for hours with the stars above and wifey for company. It's also nice when you have cause to use the ample reserves of power to overtake (even better with an open pipe bellowing its authority)..........sorry, that's not helping much is it?
What a disaster !
You should not share this bad story with us.
It is criminal. Shame on you !
You will not survive one year...
Too sad.
Thanks for your story Apache. I had the same feeling yesterday (it was the first time i was driving my griff in a summer night) well said Apache, i know exactly what you are talking about.
Could not exist with another car...
