st colour. Will actually look better with number plates on it, which is slightly bizarre.

But otherwise ok, I think.

Hmm, looks almost unchanged. It looked fine, but a bit more evolution perhaps?

Considering how blingy and overblown I feared they might make it, that'll do fine.

Lights are appalling, should be round. Details too fussy.

Is it a new platform or just a facelift?

Looks like the current body with some Evoque style tacky detailing added.

Like it a lot. But it is only a facelift, no?

Yup - no stupid flame surfacing, no crazy chrome, good sized tailgate, nice ground clearance. My only concern is that the front bumper is quite large for a car that can be reasonably expected to need front bumpers quite often.

One of the new ones with those crazy photo-fooling stickers all over it was parked up at our local park over the weekend. I didn't bother taking a pic because a) I wasn't sure it'd really show anything with the crazy stickers all over it and, b) it's all a bit same ol' same ol' isn't it?

Apparently this is a new platform, I read somewhere that they hoped to save something like 400kg in weight! So most of the changes will be under the skin. The exterior seems to be an evolution which I really like. At the moment I prefer the Sport to the full fat Rangie, but having seen spy shots of the new sport (too evoque-like, low, wierd), I prefer this now.

My first thought was what does the interior look like?

I'm trying to imagine it in BRG, which should look better.

I believe it's a totally new car, up to 400kg lighter than the last from what I've read.

that's just a st photoshop of a current RR Sport in the top photo and an equally st photoshop of the current Range Rover in the second. Great effort.

I like it smile

I see they have had to resort to adding a slight slant to the front end. I'm guessing this is to help aerodynamics. Along with the 400Kg weight drop, I also read that they were targeting 40mpg.

I can see them having to eventually add a slant to Disco front too.

I heard on the radio at the weekend that Beckham Spice has had a hand (or some plastic part) in the design of this.

I wonder which bit.

Doesn't look too far away from the real thing.
