Tried this last night. Have a good car with a good set up and on a clear lap my guys are into the 39s so could win. HOWEVER almost every lap they try and go side by side coming out of the tunnel, arrive at the chicane with my guy on the inside and he turns into the wall and spins out. It is really frustrating, I try to do it with the guy as cool as possible and I am even clicking on him to slow down well before the tunnel but he can't help himself. it isn;t the car or set up and I have tried my other 30 plus driver too and he does it as well (they are 32 steady and 38 increasing form!). Has anyone managed to do this and if so how?! Drove me nuts.

Some cars work, some don't.

I actually used a Lamborghini Countach with wing and slicks for that race in A Spec. For B, I used the Toyota 7.

wrong race, I'm talking about the online one that came up in late April.

Tried a different car and a 3rd driver last night, kept driving into the wall again whenever he was alongside someone coming into the harbour chicane even if he was on full cool and I was trying to slow him down, kept popping out in the braking zone to the left, finding himself off line and turning in to early, hitting the wall to the left where it sticks out. Attempted it 5 times, hit the wall every race, usually mutliple times and sometimes every lap, but on the last one somehow the traffic fell in the right place and he only did it once so he won. Won't be doing it again.

B spec Monaco - the thrill of replaying sufficient times to overcome through chance a blatant glitch that Sony can't be bothered to fix. Very disappointing, my controller went flying across the room at one point!

I remember this was one of the most difficult to win... IIRC, The Toyota 7 is a bh to beat so if you can get a line up without it that helps - or at least one where the Toy isn't starting at the front. Whatever, it will take a lot of attempts before you win it.

If you need one of the mega cars to run this race (Ferrari/Jag/Toy 7) add me as a friend (GTP_Stotty) and I'll put them on share for you.

Like I said, you are also talking about the wrong race! It isn't the difficulty re: speed, it is the fact he keeps trying to overtake up the inside and then turns straight into the barrier. Every lap he is alongside someone. It is a glitch, not a challenge.

The race is winable - I know this as I've beaten it.

What car are you using?

My Bob crashed lots on this race. If you've tried both your Bobs try a different car... maybe they'll get on with it better.

I know the one you mean... I've tried it with three different cars, all of them smash themselves into the chicane after the tunnel..it is fked.

I gave up with that B-Spec race in the seasonal events.

I know, not worth it. You would expect the developers to actually test these races and Bspec AI before releasing them. The other thing that annoys me is the grand valley course when they come out of the tunnel with the right hand corner onto the straight over the suspension bridge, they always brake. Why would anyone brake as they enter a straight. Computer AI always does it, makes it easy to overtake but surely someone has spotted it by now?
