Thinking about this as a winter hoon car. clio may be comming to the end of its life soonish and i fancy an upgrade to the daily driver. Anyone any experience of this or can you get roof bars for them?

In t'olden days, a pair of 207s would fit in a Carrera Sport 3.2, and 205s fitted in a Cerbera.

Unfortunately skewed into the passenger footwell, from memory they did just fit down the middle but only by resting on the dash which totally blocked the view looking left.

You can buy roof rack and ski holder attachments for 996's and 997's probably cost around £500, but do you expect anything different from Porsche? wink

Did Cerberas exist when people were skiing 205s? wink

I always fancied doing a 007 arriving in Cortina, pulling up at Milton Keynes snowdome didn't quite have the same allure..

Hijack alert. These were 190s as I recall, my first ever 'short' ski. I'd had the Cerb a couple of years by that time, and the previous season it was carting up a pair of Fischer RC4 Vacuum Technic RS Graphites in 205. Before that it was a pair of Atomic ARC Carbon Bionics in 207 in the 911. For the ski geeks, both very rare skis - at least in the UK as the RS Graphite was special order only (as opposed to the regular RS) and the Carbon Bionic was equally rare versus the RS Bionic and SL Bionic.

I love how the 190 used to be refered to as a short ski hehe

These days thats pushing what you can get for off piste or even some racers.
