I got one the other day from a former Rover dealer that still stocks parts. It's Land Rover part no ERR 3340.

After reading this thread I went with the Valvoline VR1 20/50.

It was the only one of the recommended oils I could get locally (Euro Car Parts Belfast). Only changed it at the weekend so I will have to see how it goes.

Last one I used was a Bosch P4014

Got it from http://www.eurocarparts.com/car-parts it was about £8.00. It's a Landrover oil filter on their lists

Oil, I used Mobil 1 extended life, it's on a deal at Halfords and is in 5L bottles so enough for an oil change. My pre-cat engine definitely runs better and is less 'tappety' and does not appear to be using any oil.
