Scratch on Windscreen

Can anyone advise on how to get a scuff mark, from wiper I think, out of my windscreen?

3M cutting compound followed by glass polish sometimes removes scratches in the screen.

autoglass etc do repairs, usually covered on insurance...doesn't affect NCB.

you'd have to pull the "dazzles at night" ploy.
