Unable to upload an image (beta)

I am trying to upload images onto a thread/forum but am unable to.
Upon selecting the image (which I've checked is definitely a jpeg file and under 2mb) I click upload. This is when the loading circle continuously goes round but never actually uploads the image. It has worked in the past, but I've noticed in the last few weeks (and on different laptops) it hasn't worked. As far as I'm aware, my internet is fine - I have been able to upload pictures on other websites (such as facebook, etc..)
Any help to resolve this issue would be much appreciated.
