PentaxEOS adaptor ring with old MF prime lenses?

Typical, a couple of weeks after selling my Pentax camera and kit I've been playing about with a plastic Holga lens and now want a quick old prime lens or two. I used to have a Pentax 50mm f1.7 which was brilliant (I sold it to get the AF f1.4 one and regretted it) and these can be had for pennies so is it worth buying something like this to fit it....

Obviously the point of buying the Pentax stuff is the image quality so if that's going to suffer as a result of the adaptor I'm not going to bother so what's the view on that? Obviously it'll all be manual control but that was the same on the k20d so I'm not worried about that.

Looks similar to the adapter rings I've used for Olympus OM and Nikon manual lenses. I have achieved superb results on Canon full frame using similar.

The only one that doesn't work is Canon FD to EF!

I use manual lenses 90% of the time on my 450D. I have Zeiss, Helios and Vivitar, all Pentax M42 fit and they take some great pics. Sadly, they are becoming more and more expensive as people become to realise their potential.

I also have a number of Canon FD lenses, which don't work so good, with the exception of my 100mm FD macro. I do use that on occasions with an FD-EOS adapter and the corrective glass removed.
