He's currently standing at the Wincanton roundabout just before the A303 next to Morrisons and is trying to make it up to the midlands, or more precisely rugby.

If anyone is around that area and is heading towards the fosse way or anywhere north, that would be of big help to him and I can PM you his mobile number.

I would go and pick him up but it'd be a 250 mile round trip for me and I don't have money laying around like that.

Got a sign?

Looking like you don't smell?

Standing near to the right exit with somewhere convenient to stop?

If yes to all that and no luck in 45mins or so, it's time to start asking people as they fill up with petrol if they'd be prepared to help you out.

Remember to send a tweet as you are being rogered by a Hungarian trucker in the bushes near Beacon Hill, do it in plenty of time before he slits your throat on his vinegar stroke!

Hang on - skint enough to not be able to afford a bus or train ticket, yet rich enough to be able to afford a smartphone that allows web access over a mobile network and sophisticated enough to allow you to log into the PH website and post - while mobile and hence incurring costs over your carrier....

Mmmm, maybe cut back on the fancy mobile and by a bus ticket?

hehe

Sorry, couldnt miss that one - too easy....

Kip down for 2 days and I will pick you up on my way back Thursday. hehe

If you are still at it Thursday, I'll be heading from Hampshire, up that way, to Leicester, I would stop in Rugby for a PH'er. biggrin

Time to start your charm offensive on the the service station users then!

Always worked for me, and few would call me charming.

Fancy mobile was purchased when I had money!

I moved to the exit of the fuel station but if I get nothing soon I think it'll be the asking as they fill up option
