Grass Autotest in Leeds Wednesday evening
Discussion
Sorry for the late posting, but realised it is now tomorrow evening
and just hoping the weather forecast is wrong for rain tomorrow
I have entered my S Type Jaguar (don't laugh) for the IDMC Ilkley & District Motor Club
grass autotest at Manston Grange Farm near Seacroft Leeds from 6.30 for 7pm start.
(drive past the old Barnbow Tank factory to the very bottom and it is the farm on the left)
LS15 8AD should get you near on Sat Nav
There are usually 3 or 4 tests run 3 times before light fails
and we retire to the pub for a shandy
Anyone is welcome to come and watch/cheer me on (I will certainly need it)
but it is great fun and for just £7 then it is really cheap motorsport
Cheers
Richard

Hmm, I'm a member of IDMC too. What time is it likely to finish? I might try and get over and compete!
Hi BenUsually finishes as the light fails about 8.30-9pm I would guess
It is £15 to enter on the night (if you are already a member)
The regs are on the IDMC front page
pm me if you need any more details
Cheers

Roll on the next one
Difficult to roll on a grass autotest but if you're planning to, fit a harness. How are you doing, Mate? Still racing? Still in 1 piece?
Fancy bringing your Fiat on a 2 mile runway in a couple of weeks?
cheers

It's far too noisy I'm afraid.
What's far too noisy? There are no noise limits hereI'm afraid I am at a Wedding in Middlesboro on the 1st Sept -
otherwise would have come to watch as I love Cadwell as a track
and I bet the MR2s racing round there is a right dodgem fight!!!
Cheers
