What is it?

I have recently been given this pin badge by the brother of someone who used to work at Gaydon. The story goes that it is a limited edition badge made from an Aston part.
I cannot recognise it - and I have no idea what the design signifies, - any ideas?

No way would I wear it though. Can you imagine the conversations about what it was!
It's about 6.5 years since I went there but it does look vaguely like it. I'm not like Mrs R who can't remember a restaurant she's eaten at twice before!
