'Tipping' - a warning!

Just to warn you other cyclists about what I endured on my ride home tonight -

Cycling along just after the top of an incline on the road between near Hawley Cross close to the Equestrian Centre before you get to Hawley Cross and the A30, some fktard-windowlicking-shameless-smallwillied-possiblyonbenefits-bad-toothed-wannabee-hooligan-piece-of-st thought it would be fun to lean out of his girlfriends P reg Green Pug 106 and attempt to tip me off my MTB whilst I was doing about 17mph.!!

Fortunately said fktard-windowlicking-shameless-smallwillied-possiblyonbenefits-bad-toothed-wannabee-hooligan-piece-of-st didn't succeed in making me fall off my bike but thought it funny to make signs out of his window whilst I struggled in my clipped pedals to keep balance and not go over the kerb and end up in a heap on the side of the road. I am sure he forgot about the impending traffic lights that were sequencing to go to red and I was pedalling like Wiggo to catch him up. Revenge was going to me mine. He was going to get a beating like he had never suffered before. Unfortunately said girlfriend and fktard-windowlicking-shameless-smallwillied-possiblyonbenefits-bad-toothed-wannabee-hooligan-piece-of-st turned off the road and went through a short cut through a housing estate before getting to the lights, so I didnt get the chance to exact revenge.

So, hopefully this is not a new 'happy-slapping-for-bikers' trend but be warned, if it happened to me it can happen to anyone

It happened so fast, and I was struggling to stay rubber-down, that all I got was the car type, colour and 1st part of the reg - possibly not enough to go to the police with.

They should be able to do something with a partial plate and description, surely?

If you do the route on a regular basis at the same time can you not keep an eye out for the car, but report it to the police with the partial reg and update with the storm/Serial number they give you. They will follow it up, even if it's not the day you report it.

This sounds the way to go - a little risky with the potential for a re-run but worth a shot. I worked later today [am usually out around 5 not 7..] but they could be travelling along that stretch at any time, I'll keep 'em peeled.....

I just got the initial P part, and its an emerald green colour

or to avoid a repeat scenario take a wander on foot and hover around the housing estate junction and wait and see, they obviously know the rat run so must use it a fair bit.

Many moons ago ( yes a long time ago) Was riding home from school and I felt a push behind me, which launched me into the kerb. Graunching the alloy wheels on my prize roadbike. Somehow managed to get the reg off the motorbike. Went home , pretty upset. Old man took me to the copshsop. The lad driving was a disqualified rider, his accomplice admitted the crime. Sadly nothing else happened and the old man had to buy me some new wheels.......Good luck in finding the mongtards
