driving long the B3272 Hawley Lane from Farnborough to Hawley Cross, please take time out of your Shameless lifestyle to read this thread - http://pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f... - and take note that yes, although you failed to tip me off my bike and chickened out of the inevitable beating you would have got, I have your reg number cast to memory and if in the future I am next to you at a set of traffic lights, please make sure your window is closed and you are out of reach, as I cannot be held responsible if they aren't....

Because someone tried to do something stupidly dangerous? Seems normal to me.

There's a lot of it about. The other weekend I was out for a ride in Gower, just coming through Parkmill and a car full of tossers slow down, give a swerve towards me, shout abuse, throw a cd at me and drive off laughing. Not too bothered to be honest... But, around the next corner, they had driven up the back of a Volvo estate that had stopped for traffic and the owner was tearing a strip off them. smile karma in action.

Did you throw the CD back at them?

I really struggle to understand these posts, did the car in question have a pistonheads sticker on it?

True, but in all honesty there is little point at shouting at someone on a forum where in all probability they don't even know it exists, let alone are a member of. I can understand you ranting away that some random tt has done this to you but to start threatening violence towards them over a random forum is just odd. You might aswell be making the post on a dog walking forum or a cake baking one.

It is the equivalent of walking into a shopping centre and shouting your post in Costa Coffee is it not?

Even so, these sort of posts are an embarrassment. I would wager my car that if you saw the very same person, you would bottle it (willing to loose it, I don't like it anyway). Going all out on the internet, swearing every other word making threats really isn't the one.

You car isn't a 3 door green Pug 106 is it? wink I'd take that bet though smile [what car is it as it needs to be worth my while?.... smile]

Seriously, I was that wound up that anyone would have got both barrels and more. It was downright dangerous....[I don't get wound up easily, you have to have a hard skin sometimes on here wink]

It would be kinda cool if he was on here though - would be interesting to know his thoughts [assuming he can type with those ham-fists of his] wink

It's probably therapeutic for the OP to vent a bit of steam, though I'd do it after reporting to the Police.

Let the poor guy vent his spleen a bit. He's had a rough time, and topics have been started about far more trivial and less dangerous things.

OP, I hope karma catches up with this troglodyte. Mind you, it wouldn't hurt to give karma a helping hand and report him to the police.

In the linked thread you can only remember the first part of their plate, but in this one you have their reg "cast to memory".

Better make sure you don't get the wrong car, given that a lot of the same make/model/colour share very similar reg's....
