I forget the name of it, but round the corner from the Kings Arms by the riverside (walking away from Lower Ousegate Bridge) turn left and up the hill is a real dirty takeaway that does a wicked donner calzone. get a tub of chilli sauce, which is a good one, and you have a photo for this thread!

That's the one I was thinking of yes, the problem is I have always been extremely merry when visiting the place, so god knows what its actually like. I very vauguely remember eating what was referred to as an 'Efe's Special' from a kebab van whislt visiting a friend who was studying at York St John Uni in the early 2000's could this have been the same Efe???Does a really good Donner, or Chicken.
