Is there a disadvantage using 2 step up rings instead of one

Got a 77mm B+W 10 stopper coming to me tomorrow, delivered to a friend in the UK who is flying out tomorrow night.

Having real issues sourcing a 67-77 step up ring locally.

About to order one from fleabay but have found a complete set of 49-77 on an online store here.

Using those would mean combining the 67-72 and 72-77 in order to get it to fit the 67 mm lenses (18-105 and 70-300)

Will I encounter any issues doing it this way? If not I'll bite the bullet and get the set as I am impatient!

You might encounter Vignetting at wider angles, but other than that shouldn't cause much problems.

Thought as much, mate has just called to say he thinks he has one, if so I will just go the fleabay route and use his until it arrives.
