I've just bought the below car depending on the sale going through, as I've had ebay sellers decide their cars haven't made what they wanted at auction then go AWOL when you try to contact them despite being the winning bidder with no reserve.

I've been looking for something that will lug the dogs around and be comfortable and reliable for ocassional trips to the airport and runs up the country to visit family, plus something I can chuck the moutain bike in etc. I was tired and had a couple last night and decided to have a punt on this despite the poor spelling etc which usually sets off alarm bells in adds, and to my surprise won the auction. They're not the final word in style or driving fun but seem to be pretty well spec'd and make turd power for being a 3.2l but should hopefully fufill the brief pretty well. Other examples seem to be fetching upwards of 2k so doesn't see like I can go far wrong so long as on turning up it's not a complete and utter dog.

ETA I was originally looking at V70 T5's but they all seemed a bit leggy/older than this. Maybe next time.

Cheers just need to read up about what they hell they area really, I always just thought of them as a bigger uglier Vectra but I haven't seen many around.

There's some breaking for spares/repair around that figure so shouldn't go far wrong although it's double my usual shed budget!

Just clicked on that this is the same car that featured on TG years ago when it was first out. Utterly pointless but I do hope it has a fridge.....

Top shedding! Am I correct in thinking they are onlyu designed to seat 4? Always kind of liked them as something different never realised they were so cheap now though.

The 4 seats thing is correct, you could spec a fridge and a power supply where the middle seat would be for a DVD player. It's not a proper seat but the 'middle seat' position looks as useable as any other cars TBH if the fridge isn't spec'd. The rear seats recline and slide back and forwards. It was marketed after research showed that people wanted equal comfort in the back to the front but never took off for some reason?! The rear seats fold totally flat which gives a decent amount of loading space.

It's basically a posh(er) Vectra. They seem like a good second had steer a bit like the Omega no one seems to one a big and thirsty Vauxhall......

It really is pretty incresible what you can get for shed money at the moment. There's next to nothing at the bottom end (£100-500) but I picked up my 53 reg Rover for £580.

Tis true, I like to hover around the £500-£600 tops mark for my shedding although my current shed will almost def sell for below the £500 mark and has plenty of T&T.
