Mini Cooper S Supercharger/Cylinder heads (displaced JCW)

Hi All,

I don't normally frequent this sub forum and I hope you don't mind me posting, but if anyone knows it'll be you lot

My father in law has a brand new Supercharger and Cylinder head for a Dec 2004 Mini Cooper S that has done less than 5 miles. He had a JCW where these components were replaced from new at which point these parts were bubble wrapped at the time and boxed where they have remained ever since.

I would welcome any opinions on what sort of money you guys feel these should fetch.

A lot of people a fitting these to MX5s now. There seem to be a plentiful supply of them and they do go quite cheaply.
You might get a touch more for it being unused but only if someone really wants a new one.

Thanks for that, just done some interesting reading up on the MX5 conversions, must be a cracking conversion when sucessfully executed.

You could try getting in touch with Tim Lane of T.R. Lane who make kits to fit them to MX5s. He might well know someone who wants one or maybe take it himself.

How much do you want for them?

I was hoping 300 for the charger and 350 for the cylinder head (complete with all valves, cams, followers etc). I actually have 2 sets. Essentially my father in law and his business partner bought a pair of JCW's in dec 04, both converted from new and these were the displaced parts, boxed up from new in perfect condition. I've been charged with disposing of them.
