So, who else is off to V Festival this weekend?
Discussion
Good festival as per usual :-)
Weston park was packed, especially yesterday. I cant say I was overwhelmed by the stone roses, love their music but seemed a bit flat last night. Still great to watch. The Husmn League and Stranglers were great. The Killers (who I've wanted to see for years!) did not disappoint - they were excellent. Also caught one of my favourite bands, the Friendly Fires, and they were awesome. Managed to get close to the stage without getting covered in piss as all the piss throwers were watching Noel.
Great weekend, will be back next year, but maybe take a campervan.

Thought it was ok. Shame that 90% of attendees appear to be
s. Did some camping and was shocked to see the levels of squalor people will live in, literally sitting in their own rubbish. I suppose one shouldn't expect much from peasants.
Highlights for me included Tim Minchen, LMFAO, Guetta, Tinie Tempah & Noah and the Whales. Felt Madness, Wretch 32 and DJ Fresh were also really good. Surprise of the show - Rodrigo y Gabreila, surprisingly decent!
Not sure I'd bother next year unless the line up was particularly good. It's just such hard work tbh. Far too much attitude. Shame.
