so its been a sad week iv sold my M3 and today ive gone and lost my phone just days before i go on my holls. grr

Anyway i loved the m3 but it was time for a change after 3 of them. i fancy somthing ive not tried before and im out of ideas (iv had a few)

my current thinking is either an e39 M5 or a vauxhall monaro vxr.

so what would you pick. oh and incase iv overlooked an idea can only spend up to 10k at the min

v8 rs4, scratch that, may get a B5 RS4 for 10k

If running costs and fuel economy not an issue I'd be tempted into an E39 M5 - be an interesting comparison to the B10, if nothing else!

Winter is on its way soon, if you are expecting your next purchase to be with you beyond christmas I would look towards 4wd to play in the snow with. Youve already been jap so you might aswell give quattro a go, or an escort cos?

I have an M3 at the moment which I am happy to keep for a while yet.

But when I do come to move on I think a TVR is going to be at the top of the list. Griffith ideally, but realistically probably a Chim.

there are a two things putting me off the B10 felt like it weighed as much as a small moon and steering felt quite vague because of this it was hard to drive it hard. im sure it was not helped by the auto box.

I've not owned either, but the B10 is more of a bruiser cruiser I think.
M5 is manual only and should be a sharper steer. Still a V8 heavyweight though. Depends if you like that sort of thing I guess.
