Mine was first registered in April 2000 on a W reg. Chassis was jan 1st 2000 and body was 2nd week of jan 2000.

Maybe at Christopher Neils upstairs in showroom

Taken in October 1999 , I think, next to my Chim


Loaned for a while and it handled very nice, down to the 17" wheels I think; rack was a bit quick though

One of the guys, Tom, from the Staffs region has an X plate Mk1 that was bought as a SP6 griff before TVR changed their mind so would guess that is one of the first.

There was a T plate one driven at the lord mayors show in 1999 :-



Was a factory car at the time driven by Ben Samulson, but was later sold on and belonged to someone on the Yahoo TOG.

I had the 8th customer car off the production line, delivered to Hawthorns in early Feb 2000 and registered March first as T11SCN - Lambo Viola purple/pink colour. It was a dog so returned it to Mr Wheeler and demanded a new one was built to Swordfish spec for 2001. The first one was scrapped after a fire last year I believe.

Are chassis numbers not helpful?

I have a early Tuscan,Chassis no:1520, is 01/oct/2000 first registered!
Engine no: 401693
