got to say guys the recent posts have been pretty sad; 'Can I jack my car up without destroying the engine?' And the rear brake pads post being two of the worst offenders. This forum used to be known for is rapier like wit, repartee and incisive comment.
In an attempt to return to the good old days I thought an exploration of the V12V as an expression of Chavyness (sp?) could be a start? Or perhaps,it should be the DBS or even white Astons in general?
Over to you...

(PS we all know the only problem with Aston's current range is the vague wiff of Sanatogen present in the DB9).
Very true... as I accelerated in my 522bhp DB9 the other day my Werther's original fell out of the glove box
I did see a Vantage in front of me but I think it was sucked up into one of my air filters or splattered on the bumper... they are only tiny after all. They endless grey paitwork with endless black interiors do remind me of flies actually, accompanied by a little buzzing engine...

Not the horribly nouveau riche styling of new models/variations they bring out? DBS carbon edition for example... Or the MY13 V12V with those revolting rear lights
As I have said many times before the V8V is an excellent way into Aston Martins......in the same way the Porsche Boxster is an excellent route into Porsche ownership.......I would like to point out however that the V12V is a proper Aston Martin and can in no way be considered a "starter" Aston like the very small engine V8V

Hmm, not sure about that. Aston Martins are about balance as well... which paragon of the model range is it that has PERFECT, repeat, PERFECT balance..?
Putting a wonderful engine in a shopping trolley does not a proper Aston make...

The true expression of Chavyness is the V12V driver who also has a RRS

yeah but...no but... is it less chavvy to have a RRS AND a FFRR. Does that offset the chav in a similar way that AM offset the carbon footprint with the Cygnet.
Actually talking of chavvy.. where is my shell suited friend ????
