Search function is down at the moment. Which type of exhaust gasket is the best to use.
The ones that look like 4 thin bits of metal or the composite ones.

Personally I prefer the 2nd composite type as they allow for any slight warpage/run-out of the exhaust man flanges and they have the correct size holes for the bigger exhaust ported cars (I have these fitted the last 4 years) the steel shim type I would imagine are very unforgiving on corroded or warped flanges and need to be enlarged on the ported ex cars
I have fitted 4 sets of the composite types on different cars with no comeback

Fitted these a couple weeks ago, seem to do the job and compress nicely.
