Follow the sun menu?

So, it's my turn to host New Years eve for 6 adults (and 6 kids but they will be in bed by the time I'm cooking).

I'm thinking about a follow the sun menu, so starting in the east and moving west with the courses. I'd like to make as much ahead as possible and just finish off before serving. Probably 4 courses starter, fish, main, desert and cheese. Ok, that's 5.
So far I'm thinking something like Miso Cod (Japan) for the fish course with Apple Pie/Key Lime/Banoffee (US)for desert.

This is not fixed! just a starting point. Nothing has to be 100% authentic but I'd like it to be impressive.

If the fish is from Japan and the dessert is from US, then you'll need Fijian cheese and a New Zealand starter...

Depends on if you go for cheese before or after desert! Fiji is actually in the 3rd timezone to pass into 2013.

Starters - NZ, OZ and Russia? (Caviar?)
Fish - Japan
Main - Europe I think
Cheese - It's going to be pan European!
Desert - USA

I would go for this :

Starter : Japan
Fish : India (Goa), maybe a fish curry?
Main : Lebanese/Greek
Cheese : Swiss/French/English
Dessert : American
