Bonjour & Hello,

I will write in English et je vais ecrire en français …

In English first:
I am French and live in London (and have lived in the UK for almost 18 years) and have noticed that there are more and more French guys owning Chimeras and posting on the Chimera forum (I mainly read toe Chimaera forum as I have one myself…). I have helped a few of them and made a really good French friend through the Chimaera forum (and have met each others at Nogaro (track in the south of France), at Beaulieu, at Goodwood Festival of speed and a Le Mans Classic…).

I have also noticed that a few French people have other TVRs (there is at least a Sagaris I have hear off and a Cerbera …) and some of the French guys cannot all speak / written English too well, like for example “TVR Rooki”:
http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
and I also know that importing a TVR in France can be a nightmare…

so I through that I will create a thread were all the French guys having TVRs in France can post and all the French guys having TVRs living in England can post too and help each other’s.

This can also off course help English people with TVRs, as we often take our cars to France and I guess knowing that a “French TVR pall is around the corner” can always help in the event of a break down or something… It can also help French guys when they are looking to buy a part or a TVR in England… A bit like a “TVR entente cordiale”…

So I am inviting to all French people with TVRs (in France or England) to post their details: name / town / TVR model / year / Pistonhead alias – so here we go:

Eric Troestler / Londres / Chimaera 500 / 1996 / Frenchie TVR

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Eric Troestler / Londres / Chimaera 500 / 1996 / Frenchie TVR

Speak soon, à bientôt,

French TVR's - strange how you assume TVR's with UK plates are driven by british persons!!! Found myself stumped twice this year trying to communicate with French TVR drivers, one guy at the Classic Le Mans in a Bright Green Tamora (kindly let me into the peage que) and another guy at the Old Timers GP/'ring' a week ago in a blue/grey Tuscan. Who apparently had the car for four months but still on UK plates???

It's more then difficult to register TVRs in France. There are a lot more Tivs in UK plates then in French plates over here in France!
