Advice about Spraying & Preparing Titanium
Discussion
Not sure if this is the right forum... but I guess it is related in a way.
Does anyone know if preparing/spraying titanium is different to steel?
I have a titanium golf club ( Taylormade driver) that could do with a refurb ( -just bought it of ebay), and since Taylormade do not offer a repair/refurbishment service, I was told that I could do it myself.
Would I need a special primer ?
Thanks

It's sad the way the world is going. I remember pro's who repaired and refurbished anything, and when I found a doggy original steering wheel for the E-type my pro was so interested he did it for nothing. That was over 20 years back, and it still hasn't lost any of its laquer. I've also got the Titleist persimmon driver with alloy insert he sold me in 1981!
