If you enjoyed the Wedgefest.......

If you enjoyed the Wedge Fest as much as I did.... then get up to Yorkshire for the BNG 2012 next month.
I am the Main Organiser of the event so Wedgers are more than welcome (in fact you will get pride of place)
We are sited at a lively flying club with great facilities (just off the A1 near Leeds)in a lovely area of "Yarksha"
Plenty more info on Pistonheads (BNG has own forum area)and also on the TVRCC website (Events)
Also FREE to attend, then 2 mile long runway to blast on for £20 for 1/2 hour (must be booked in advance),
THE SPEED 12 doing test runs, TVR BBQ with food and bar open all day.
Saturday evening we then have our very own Wedge Elvis - Tony doing his star performance at the evening dinner
(must be booked in advance)and then disco running all night very much like the evening do at the Fest
To keep it affordable for all there is the choice to camp at only £3 per head at the Aero club,
or local good hotels at discounted rates (£50 for a double room inc breakfasts)
Sunday is also a full TVR day with various raffles, trade stands and competitions (no runway Sunday)
all within view of all aircraft movements (and possibly a little display)
I will be taking to the air personally at noon for an aerial shot of all the cars gathered
Hope some of you Wedgers can join us
Cheers
Trickie
PS Don't forget Mark (Zigmeister) is also organising the Wedge Girlie Calendar shoot at the BNG
with scantily clad young ladies - and I promise not just Mark in a summer dress!!!!!!

We may just get to the 12 Wedges needed for the calendar at this rate
The others are then going to be so jealous

Not really my cars don't need ladies in what ever state of dress or undress to enhance them!
In fact if they need ladies to make them look good I would not own them!
It's all down the personal preference.
But I hope it all goes well for you,
I am in fact going to another event on the same weekend in Cheshire (Carfest) with the racer to show the TVR flag to other people.

We are just doing this for a bit of fun and all importantly to raise money for a couple of worthy charities
We have now also got Peter Wheelers 5000M coming to do some runs down the 2 mile long runway on the Saturday
and we can offer a passenger ride for the lucky raffle winner.
Cheers

Less than 2 weeks to go
This is a free to attend event (like the BBWF) but you will need to book this week
if you are wanting to stay over or go to the dinner
Also the track will be £30 per slot on the day to deter late bookers
Starting to get very busy with lots coming - so hope a good proportion of Wedgers
Cheers

I'm hoping to attend on the Sunday (and have a go at the "loudest" competition... I don't expect to win but a good placing would be cool.)
If all goes to plan I'll be travelling up saturday late afternoon/evening and crashing at a mates in halifax, whats the best time to arrive on the Sunday morning?
