Hi All
I live in Harringey, N. London and I've seen my dream job, the problem is the location is just off junction 7 on the M11. Being a tube user to get to work for the last 6 years I have no idea what the roads are like during the morning and evening rushs. So wondered if there was anyone out there who knows the north circular(406) and M11 well and could tell me what the traffic is like at that time of day. Is it a nightmare? I was hoping that because I would be going aginst the flow of traffic out of London, rather than in it maybe ok? Am I kidding myself? I really do not want to do more than 1 hours drive each way. I think the office hours would be standard 9-530.

Anyone with any experince of these roads I would love to hear your opinions.

Thanks, J

Always a steady flow of traffic on the North Circ from the A10 round to the M11 and most of it carrying on round the Circ towards the A12. Usually okay unless there is an incident/accident at the regular point of the M11/A406 junction.
The M11 is fine heading North in the morning rush hour. A look at it heading south makes you glad you're not commuting into London.

Until recently I would of guessed that getting from J7 into Harlow could easily of been the worst part of your journey, but recently they've changed the layout on the A414. I haven't used the new bit at rush hour so can't say if it's helped or not.

Edited. Harringay or Haringey.
