Couple of pictures of my new (well new to me) Z4 coupe that I purchased on the weekend.

Really happy with it so far, drives really well and a real step up from anything I've had in the past. Plan of keeping it standard, only thing I want to sort out is bluetooth and iphone connectivity.

Thanks, I will do when I get some spare time.

So after having had the car for a week or so, wow I'm really impressed, it pulls so smoothly and the engine burbling away as you put your foot down is addictive. I can't believe how much keener this feels compared to my 330ci despite there only being 30bhp in it or so.

Am finding that the car tramlines a fair bit though, which is down to runflats and sport suspension I guess. However I may as well use the tyres as they are decent Bridgestones before changing for non runflats.

Sticks.

Very nice car, and not that much goes wrong, which is good.

I suspect the extra speed is partly due to the weight difference rather than bhp. My Z4 feels a lot sharper than the 330, though both the same bhp.

Tramlining will disappear entirely when you get rid of the rfts if it's anything like mine. Car feels like you'd expect with normal tyres.

Z4 Coupe, alongside the Peugeout RCZ, is one of very few modern cars that I think look really different from the rest of their ilk. Lovely looking cars, and the creamy straight six engine sounds gorgeous.. Nice car chap smile

Beautiful. Stunning!

I think I had a Dice iPod kit and used the Brodit iPhone holder with pass through connector. Just beware that you need to remove the stereo and vent to loosen the dashboard securing bolts in order to use the dash opening wedge to open the gap sufficiently to get the iPhone holder to slide in.

The BMWs are built a lot better than other cars and they don't mention this in the fitting instructions! The Brodit holder is blooming brilliant though! Check out the Z4 forum for more info or email me for pics.

The Dice kit is really good. Steering wheel controls control the iPod and the song names appear on the stereo, even on the basic one line display stereo.

Very nice. I have a Z4C in black too - great cars.

Things to do:

1) Fit stubby aerial (seriously, this is a MUST as that mast on your at the moment ruins it!)
2) Check rear springs, once broken - fit Eibachs smile
3) Sound generator mod - just one piece of foam though.
4) Fit some proper tyres - I'd suggest Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta's if you can get them. I promise you it will transform the experience!

Thanks Miln,

1. Haha, yes I will try and get one of those, as the normal aerial is rather at odds with the look of the rest of the car.
2. Recently replaced, so hopefully won't have to do that for a while...
3. Hmm, sounds interesting, I'll have a google.
4. I'm not a fan of the run flats, however have got used to them and am loathe to ditch them as they are nearly new. Deff. going non runflat when the time comes though!
