suspension problems

Hi all

has anyone got/had squeeky suspension? obviously i can only hear it at low speed as i can't hear anything when going decent speed.
i'm not sure what it might be? it's not going to do any harm spraying the bushes with wd40 or something is it?

also any recommendations for a setup in notts or the midlands? i want to get everything completely setup and the ride is pretty crap at the moment.
I'm going to poly bush everything before getting the setup, but for the time being i just want to stop the annoying squeeks

The one by the cattle market will do your four wheel alignment for £50 but they will only work off the settings you give them or the factory settings ,they are specialists in the field but not TVR.

They will do what you ask..

other an that Willow sports cars in Newark but his equiptment is far from modern but he has been setting up TVR`s and Caterhams for years .

thanks mate i'll give them a call.

getting the carpet and roof fitted next week so it will have to be the week after. I'm going to try some wd40 on the bushes see if it cures the noise, don't think it can do any harm

Where did you get the carpet from ?

got a set from coverdale to fit myself but changed my mind and getting it fitted in blackpool instead

I've just been doing my nut on mine after changing to Nitrons last winter... Squeaking and a loud metalic crack over big bumps... Turns out its the fuel tank moveing a tad against the floor or bulk-head?..... Have a look.. your new springs etc will have changed the ride so it may be doing it no when it didn't before.

Rose-jointed ARBs can squeak - might be worth checking them out...
