Or is it closed to the public?

I am in London tomorrow with the kids and would love to take them to see it. Can you go in or will it be just closed?

Thanks

Only if you show your Greenpeace membership card at the gate.

Afraid not. You used to be able to see it from John Lewis in the Westfield, but i think they were shutting that area. You can see the stadium/Orbit/aquatics centre quite well from Stratford station/ground level in Westfield but the kids might not be impressed.

You can't get in to the actual park as they're prepping for the Paralympics. Worth getting the train to Stratford though - you can get quite close and just being that near is a bit of a buzz. If you walk through to Stratford International, get the DLR back to Stratford Mainline as it runs through the actual park itself.

Chock a limb off and you'll get entry no problemo.

I went on the cable car yesterday and I think a lot of others had the same idea.

It still had an Olympic type feel and you cannot get that close to the dome or excel it gives an idea of what it was like. Part of me regrets now not getting any tickets and keeping away from London for the.last few weeks.

We did this last Wednesday - it was ok, but disappointing we could not get closer.

The lego model of the stadium in John Lewis is on my Xmas list though!
