I like the colour scheme - is there a cost to import/register a vehicle from Ireland though?

Cheers!!

I'd suggest you search for Alinton and his posts on here. Nice looking car though, it'll need registering here before you can drive it and a uk MOT afaik.

Nice guy, contacted me when i was hunting for an S, unfortuantly at the time he was looking for a price well out my budget. I ended up with exactly the same car as this in the same colour but with higher miles as its all i could pilfer from the bank at the time. And the price has come down significantly

That's my car chaps. It really is a peach. In the interests of disclosure it did sustain some damage a year or so ago, body only, nothing chassis or mechanical.

I spent a lot of money getting it perfect again.

The car did originally have a UK reg, so I don't think its very painful at all to resurrect that plate.

My asking price was based on Euros, so with Sterling strong against the Euro you'd be at an advantage, as the deal will be in Euros.

Alinton, so are you saying you're asking for £17k sterling = 21,616 EUR or 17, 000 EUR??? Confused by that....

i guess he means that his asking price is moving up and down wit the currency movements.
He has a euro price in his head and that is translated into GBP... GBP is going up to the euro so his GBP pice is going down...

So... 17k GBP i would guess

^^ Exactly - although that 17k will change if Sterling strengthens even more against the Euro.

Maybe we should wait till the Euro is 1.80 to the pound and bring all the foreign owned TIVS back to blighty.
