Got car keyed on front wing and got a few quotes for repair. Porsche Cambridge were pretty much the same as local recommended body shops, but came back and said it would be impossible for them to guarantee a good colour match. Artic Silver no problem, GT Silver is another matter. Not entirely sure why.

Has anyone with GT Silver gone ahead and got some work done? How was the colour match?

Cheers
James

Yes on my RS60. The only place that has matched it perfectly is SL Restoration who I used via OPC Mid Sussex, and it worked out cheaper than anyone. Call Steven in Servicing at MS, mention my name and ask him for the maximum discount possible. Always go through the OPC so you get your guaranteed for life repair certificate.

OPC Cambridge painted the front bumper on my old 997, iirc it cost about £700 including a protective film. The colour match was perfect.

Both Boxster race cars are GT silver, one originally so, "mine" was originally polar silver, but repainted to match the other one. After someone (not me!!) had a small off the paint match afterwards was perfect (edge to edge too, no blending along a panel) - but was done by the same place that had done the repaint just a few months before.
