How to Remove DB9 Front Grill?

I'm wanting to strip my currently painted grill.
I appreciate the additional hassle of keeping a non-painted version clean but fancy a change.
Any advice please on how to remove it?

Yes, I found that too but I wasn't convinced that it required the removal of the whole front bumper assembly.
I thought I remembered another thread (from way way back) saying that it was easier than that - but I couldn't find it.
Maybe I was mistaken?

The slats are clipped in and will come off (too) easily.

I have just tried it and I see what you mean - the fixing mechanism doesn't seem too clever

You are best to drop a small amount of superglue at the back of each mounting when you push the slats back in.

I was speaking to a dealer who stated that they have many instances of the slats dropping out when driving and you then need to purchase a new grill (£500+), not a manufacturing defect as it could have been stolen so AM will not pay out.

If the slats are lose (try pushing side to side and watch the paint) and the car is still under warranty AM will replace the whole grill.

Mine was done with in a week of getting it from the factory
