I had a 450SE where the previous owner had swapped the passenger seat with the drivers seat and it fitted perfectly except the recliner levers were now on the wrong side. I hope that helps.

On my Tasmin (and later the Esprit) I fitted Maestro seat runners that were near-identical to the TVR originals but had a latch on both runners, operated by a bar across the two. Just had to cut and re-weld the bar as the TVR seats are very narrow.

ye there all sorted the problem is only one runner has a catch on it on the wedges so when you push the seat back it twists the frame

Yep, one of the reasons I bought another pair of spare seats to rob for frames... unfortunately despite the Ebay seller telling me they were Maestro seats it turns out they're actually from a Montego irked; the slides are rivetted, rather than bolted, to the seat frame so I had to drill the rivets out. Still, no rush, can't see the 390 being back on the road this year so I'll just add it to the list of things that need doing...
