Man without a can

I'm after a man (or indeed a woman as I'm down wif the times and all that) to help with the arduous task of movings lots of boxes in to my new house.

I have van already, it's loaded up and ready to go. As the entire family is on holiday I have very little in the way of help. They are all back in 10 days, in the mean time I'm living at the in-laws (who are also on holiday!) which isn't ideal. I could of course wait, but it doesn't gel with my work calendar.

Who should I turn to to hire such a person? Would a normal removal company help? I did try and get a firm in originally, but of the 5 I contacted none got back to me...

I've just noticed the title is incorrect. It should of course say Van not Can!

If there are any mods around who can fix it that would be good

It sounds more like you are a man with a van that needs another man to help with moving stuff. So "Man with a van needs a man" would work better

I'm based in Tywford. We only need to move everything 400m!

However we don't complete until Monday, so I'm stuffed until then.
