Can't see the dials

I'm 6'2" and now have a VX220 Turbo pigeon holed for me by the Aberdeen Vauxhall garage. I've obviously test driven their demonstrator and have decided to take the plunge. However, I can't see anything of the speedo or rev counter other than the lower half of the dials. is this a common problem or am I just not sitting in it right?
