Looking to get my M5 E39 wheels redone in proper shadow chrome finish. I've seen recommendations for Lepsons, but it's a long way (I'm in the Midlands). I did see an old recommendation for Rimfurb near Birmingham but more research shows not too good feedback more recently.

So - any other recommendations - I am willing to travel to an extent, main priority is quality of work..

thanks in advance.

Kelly uses Lepsons for Shadow chrome, I know he spoke about it when we met him. Not sure Lepsons Brum is still going but would be worth a try.

They are "brochure" perfect although nobody seems really sure of the exact shade. Look correct in the flesh.

Do lepsons not offer a wheel exchange service?

Either way. They do a decent job.

The guys who ran the Lepsons franchise in Swindon are still about in the same premises but under another name. Have used them 4 times on 4 different sets of wheels and they've always been great.

Some M5's left the factory with darker shadow chrome alloys than others. You can ask them to make them lighter or darker according to personal preference.

Slightly OT, but does anyone else agree that these were possibly one of the best alloy designs BMW have ever come up with?
