Is it possible to lock the car without activating the alarm?

Any other advice relating to a Tamora alarm which has never sounded for 5 years but is now randomly triggering gratefully received. At present the only thing I can tie it to is trips to Belgium?!

my alarm was randomly going off during windy or rainy conditions when parked and locked. (mine lives outside) I solved this by turning down the sensitivity on the alarm, the control box is located under the leather panel above the gear box tunnel. it was quite far in, but not un-accessable. a small flat head screwdriver to turn it down a bit and job done.

page 31-32 of the owners manual says apparently not. Maybe someone knows different?

Yes you can. Push the button on the dash that disables the exterior door openers & the boot lock before you get out & close the door. The microwave increases in sensitivity with temperature so probably needs turning down. You will need to lock/unlock the car on the remote to get back in though.
