Hi Wolfgang - can you give me details on how you are mounting your Go Pro....pictures look good. Also, any advice on getting the best sound?

Hello Simon
I use the suction pad that came with the camera in the motorsport edition.
I now place the camera on top of the front screen that gives the best perspective and with the roof open I can easily operate the switch to start recording without leaving the car.
I think best sound option would be with the wifi bacpac and a external mic on the rear between the pipes. Have seen a vid of a Griff I believe with that setup on youtube and the sound was really amazing.

I've a friend who does some of the filming on Top Gear. Apparently they always use 2 mics. One in the engine bay for induction noise, and the other by the exhaust. Sound guy will then mix the two noises together. He also says they fashion some tape around the mic to reduce wind noise.

I watched it. Great road although to push it along there I would want something that handles a bit better than the average Tuscan (yes, i am a wet nancy boy smile )

The smile I refer to is the top end of the main bonnet. You do not see the complete smile but the left and right corner of it wink. Maybe my fantasy is too vivid or I am to much in love with her....

Sorry for the one(s) who find it too long and therefore boring. Being a christian I left it uncut laugh
My advice is take a look at it once again in two months when outside the wind is howling and the rain (or snow) beats on your windows. Bet you like it better then!
