Part way through I have to put the guitar down & play the air drums.JohnAdmin said:
My fav is the song Nothing else matters by Metallica.
bit of a slow burner....has to be whole lotta rosie...great opening riff, easy rhythym part and knock solo and out-tro - esp the live and original and best on "if you want blood..."
(bad boy boogie is a pretty good alternative too)
otherwise...where to begin....
Paranoid - Black Sabbath
Run to the hills - maiden
Crossroads - Cream
wholl elotta love - led zep....
should keep the air circulating nicely for a while

Interstingly Angus did that solo to prove he could shred after some criticism, read that in a guitar techniques ages ago. Most Ozzy stuff from Lee and Rhoads is aswome, Bark at the moon from Jake is serious shredding, learnt it couple of weeks ago, awsome guitarist massively over looked.
Jason Becker has some seriously awsome sweep parts, that sound great, Altitudes is a good one.
Iommi, N.I.B is my 'on your knees' air guitar favourate!
I've always rated Jake Lee too, his intro to Killer of giants is a favourite of mine. Wilde is talented but he practices his squeelies way too much for my tastes.
There's a few songs mentioned already that have me on the air guitar, but a winner for me is More Than A Feeling (Boston, I think?). Oh, and Juke Box Hero (Foreigner).

It's got to be Steve Vai's "The Crying Machine" for me, that big lick trade-off session between Steve Vai and Tony Macalpine at the end of the Live at the Astoria version does it for me.

The live version is mind blowing. The tradeoff section made one of my guitar students want to quit after he saw it. Bad Horsie is fantastic and Chameleon (the Billy Sheehan) track on that dvd is up there tooMy air guitar song... Racer X - Godzilla.
