Wandering, internet-wise, around nutition I checked my usual morning snacks and found that nuts and berries was better than ham and cheese, particularly with regard to fibre. Maybe not a huge surprise, but GDA is apparently 20g - 40g so I had a look at other stuff I commonly eat.
40g of fibre is four whole cans of chickpeas. A day. yikes

What the hell are people eating to get their fibre, the carpet?

Porridge, fresh fruit and veg, brown rice and pasta. 40g seems an awful awful lot, I was always led to believe it was around 20g you need.... But my nutrition lectures were 3 years ago now!

Oddly, all I had yesterday was pizza followed by cod and chips... yet, this morning, you'd think I'd eaten a bucket of All Bran yesterday. I'm throwing the diet books away.

Your body rejecting oily st as fast as it can is very different to assisting your normal digestive process through bran consumption!
