Does anyone else's go stiff when the sun comes out?

Easy now!! I mean my indicator stocks. Whenever it's really hot and the sun is shining on the car when the roof is off they go all weird and stiff when trying to use them. Sometimes they are so stiff it's difficult to tell if they are working.
It's a mark 2, has anyone else had this happen?

Have not experienced the same problem myself, but could be due to the fact that with the roof off excess heat is drawn through the stearing column from the engine bay and causing the alloy metal to expand and hence feel tighter than normal under usage ! ( ooh errhh missus ). Just a thought, metal expands when hot and even parking in hot direct sunshine will have everything heating up and expanding
