Ultimate tool box for my TVR - Help
Discussion
Right, over the years I've accumulated a fairly comprehensive tool kit, however it is lacking (as I'm finding out) for certain jobs on the Chim. Bit of a long shot maybe, but does anyone have a 'definitive' tool kit for the Chim/Griff that will never leave you on a Sunday afternoon lying under the car thinking 'feck it, I haven't got anything that will fit/reach/get round that corner' in my toolbox.... About time I invested in some new tools so any advice will be much appreciated
Thanks in advance guys,
Chilli

The Halford 150 piece socket set, They do a smaller socket set with deep reach sockets and 3/8th drive and 1/4 with fine tooth ratchets do around 90% of the jobs on my TVR. Very well priced and good quality tools for very little money. Got snap on and blue point stuff there and the Halfords professorial stuff is still really good.

something like this should cover most jobs
Wow! That is a serious tool kit!!! I have no space and would never use 95% of the tools, but I feel i need that! (1st the £35k to buy it though!
) It's all the spanners at odd angles and bendy pliers etc that would make some jobs so much easier that i like!phillpot said:

Its cheaper to buy a new car
!Not meaning to hijack the post but I need a new low entry jack but one that can stretch to halfway under the side of the car. This is so I don't need to jack one side up, then the other. Any good suggestions as all the ones I can find are too short
